With gratitude to the thought leaders of agilemanifesto.org engineering organizations around the globe have made great strides in creating a new creative culture.
Isn’t it time the business side caught up with the engineers and got our own Agile Manifesto?
I’m proposing the above minor tweaks to the original Agile Software Development Manifesto as a starting point and welcome any suggestions you have to improve it.
Manifesto for Agile Business Development
We are uncovering better ways of developing
our business by doing it and helping others do it.
Through this work we have come to value:
Individuals and engagement over processes and spreadsheets
Working relationships over comprehensive MOU’s
Partner & customer collaboration over contract negotiation
Responding to change over following a plan
That is, while there is value in the items on
the right, we value the items on the left more.
